Todo empezó en una noche de febrero, en el momento y lugar indicado, una reu a la que ninguno de los dos pensábamos ir originalmente. Nos presentaron y de inmediato salieron las conversaciones, los gustos similares, la música, conciertos, comida, todo simplemente fluyó. Sin embargo, cada uno se fue como llegó, con un saludo y cero contacto posterior. Pero como en toda relación hay un factor común, ese fue un amigo muy querido, amigo de ambos. Se dio la historia del chico que pide el teléfono de la chica en quien está interesado y en quien pensó durante casi quince días. Comenzaron las conversaciones, las risas, la confianza, las reflexiones, el consuelo y la alegría…

Finalmente, un mes después tuvimos nuestra primera salida, la que confirmaría todo lo que estábamos empezando a sentir. Luego siguieron muchas salidas más, llamadas, helados y correcciones de exámenes juntos, cocinar galletas y hacer queques. Todo fluía y se hacía más y más real. En abril iniciamos nuestra relación y comenzamos a conocernos, tan solo para confirmar que estábamos en el camino correcto del otro. Crecimos, maduramos juntos y decidimos comprometernos un año más tarde, frente a un palacio musical y también con la bendición de quien estamos seguros ayudó un poquito a encontrarnos. Nuestro viaje a Europa hizo que nos enamoráramos aún más y nos demostró que estábamos listos para el siguiente paso. El trabajo distanció nuestros cuerpos, pero nuestros corazones estuvieron más unidos que nunca.

Hoy, dos años después de escribir la primera palabra de esta historia, estamos felices de seguir creciendo no solo como persona, sino como futuro matrimonio y como familia, y por ello nos sentimos bendecidos y contentos de compartir este, nuestro momento, con ustedes, nuestra familia.

It all started on a February night, in the right moment and in the right place, in a party which we considered not going to. We were introduced one another and immediately the conversations, similarities, music, concerts and love for food came out naturally. We left just as we arrived, a kind kiss on the cheek and no further contact. As we usually see in every relationship, there is a common element, and in this particular case, this element was a very good friend, a friend of both. Then started the story of the man who goes asking for the number of the girl he is interested in and who he thought about for almost fifteen days. This first contact developed into good conversations, laughter, trust, reflections, comforting and joy...

Finally, a month later we went out on a date which would confirm everything we were beginning to feel. Then followed many more dates, phone calls, ice cream while grading exams together, baking cookies and cakes while watching “Friends”. Everything was so good and became more and more real. In April our relationship commenced and began to know each other in a deeper way, just to confirm that we were meant to be on the other one’s path. We grew up together and decided to get engaged a year later, in front of a beautiful musical palace and also with the blessing of someone we are sure played an important role in helping us to find each other. Our trip to Europe made us fall in love even more and showed us that we were ready for the next step. Then work and distance kept our bodies apart, but our hearts were closer than ever.

Today, two years after having written the first word of this story, we are happy to keep growing not only as a person, but also as a future married couple and as a family, and therefore we feel blessed and happy to share this, our moment, with you, our family.
